This course combines the Basic Life Support (BLS) course with the Heartsaver First Aid course for those needing both certifications.

Basic Life Support (BLS): This course is for healthcare professionals who need to know how to perform CPR, as well as other lifesaving skills, in a wide variety of in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings.

This is the most common kind of BLS Healthcare Provider CPR certification needed by Healthcare Workers. Required for working in the healthcare industry such as a hospital, clinic, nursing home, assisted living facility or any healthcare setting.

Heartsaver First Aid: AHA’s Heartsaver First Aid course provides the knowledge and skills that may help save a life. It offers the basics of first aid for the most common life-threatening emergencies, covering how to recognize them, how to call for help, and how to perform lifesaving skills. Heartsaver courses from AHA offer: a cohesive, consistent experience for the learner, best practices to give students the best possible learning experience and help them better retain information with enhanced and realistic scenarios.

Please do not select the Recert option unless you have a current, unexpired AHA BLS Provider card.

If you select the renewal/recert option, you must email a copy of your current AHA BLS Provider eCard PRIOR to class or you will be billed for the additional course fees.

Per AHA policy, you are required to have the current textbook for this course. The book needs to be present in the classroom, and can be used on the written exam. If needed, you can purchase manuals here. We only offer the E-Book format of the Provider Manuals. ( Once purchased, Keycodes are non-refundable).
